Refund Policy

Refundable

Any work that hasn't started yet is fully refundable, less a 5% processing fee.

If a project is in progress and you decide to stop, the unstarted portion of the work is refundable. We'll send you everything we've completed so far.

Not refundable

Completed deliverables (edited manuscript, finished cover artwork, formatted interior, printed copies) aren't refundable — but they ARE covered by our 100% satisfaction guarantee at /guarantee, which means we'll keep working until you're happy.

Third-party costs we've already paid on your behalf (ISBN registration, distribution setup fees, printing for orders that have already shipped) aren't refundable, since we've passed that money on.

Process

Write to info@penmanbooks.com with your project reference and what you'd like refunded. We'll come back within 3 working days with a clear breakdown of what's refundable and the refund timeline.

Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days via the original payment method.

Printed copies

If a printed book arrives damaged, misprinted or bound poorly, we'll replace or refund the affected copies free. Notify us within 14 days of receipt with photos.
