Amazon offers a free ISBN, but the imprint on it reads 'Independently Published'. With an Indian-agency ISBN your imprint name is whatever you choose — your name, or a publisher you've set up.

- Yes. Each format and each edition needs its own ISBN — paperback gets one, hardcover gets a separate one, eBook gets a third, audiobook a fourth.

- Yes — an ISBN identifies the book, not the geography. The same ISBN works worldwide.
- What if I already have an ISBN?
