Sorry, No Flowers. Seeds Only!
by Elsa Franco
This is neither a spiritual book nor a self-help manual in the usual sense. You won’t find meditations that teach you how to reach higher planes of existence. No techniques are offered for you to attract or obtain more from life. This collection of brief considerations is like a flower shop. But no flowers in bloom are provided. Just seeds! No recipes for a happy and successful life are given, only suggestions to encourage you to reflect on what happens in your daily life and understand its cause and its meaning. In reality, these ‘seeds’ are already inside you, but not always are you aware of what they can become. Your moods, your behaviors, your thoughts, your relationships can be better understood if you reflect on the reasons why they are the way they are. These ideas may be not new to you, but it’s possible that you never took the time, or had the right disposition, to really think about the message they convey. These 365 short reflections on everyday life, on people, on yourself, can be read randomly. They are like steps on a multi-sided ladder: if you climb up and touch the various ‘facets’ of your mind and feelings, you may be motivated to widen your awareness of what happens in yourself, in your environment, in your relationships. Any of these considerations could be the hint you need to know yourself better. A deeper knowledge allows you to enjoy greater serenity. With greater serenity, it is easier to feel happier, too. Worth a try? P.S. If you assess your life, NO
