The author of this book “M. Varadarajan” was born into a very humble and poor family; his father was a teacher in a government elementary school and his mother was a housewife. Though he lost his father at the age of 12, he did not forget his father’s helping tendency prevailed in the village. With the help of his mother’s pension, facing a lot of struggles in society, he decided to raise in life to bring the family up. Since then, he started wearing “horse eye blinders” which made him grow into a good engineer. During his service as Engineer wherever worked, he maintained a good attitude to learning the work to excel in his career. His office was his family. The Company also rewarded for his “Key Positions” for having achieved 2nd rank at All India Level under “Divisional Engineering” in overall performance during 2007-08. The whole of his career, he kept his father’s helping tendency in mind and tried to help all his colleague Engineers by providing necessary knowledge on the execution of works and managing engineering projects with quality and timely completion of the same. He was strong in his thought that no engineer, especially a fresh site engineer gets struggles in learning the site knowledge.
